The 5th annual Run Amuck Relay Race is going to be dirtier than Monica’s blue dress. If you’ve had the chance to experience all that is the Run Amuck, then you know what we’re talking about. We set up the 2.5 mile, relay race with obstacles and a 60-foot mud pit and told you costumes were welcome.


But we had no idea we’d be facing a swarm of astronauts, geishas, runaway brides, gorillas, pirates and unattractive men in dirty underwear taking over the streets of downtown Reno. Well, maybe the unattractive men have always been here, but the rest was new. Trust us, you don’t want to miss the next race. We’re pulling out all the stops with new surprises for this year and we hear the 4th time’s a charm. You don’t know what you’re in for, you lucky muck.

2 Tips we encourage you to follow: (1) Don’t drink before the race. Alcohol + masses of people + mystery obstacles = molotov cocktail. In other words, bad news. (2) Absolutely, postively no diving into the mud pit. Use your head. Well, figuratively.
