THE RIVER ROLL HEADLINER

LEVI JONES

LEADING THE WAY:  Saturday May 13th  (11:30am – 1pm)

California’s newest break out artist Levi Jones leads the family-friendly, casual, costumed ride on a tour through the streets of downtown Reno.

The Reno River Roll is Back!

Rain or wind couldn’t keep 2016’s new addition to the Reno River Festival from becoming a massive hit.  Now the official kickoff to Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance’s Bike Week,  The Reno River Roll presented by Velofix is one of the most unique events in Northern Nevada. Celebrating everything that is bicycle, this casual 7-mile costumed slow-ride kicks off on the brand new Virginia Street bridge, tours along the Truckee River and finishes in the heart of the Reno River Festival.

Tour the streets of Reno on your best ride while trailing a live mobile band, the Coors Light Girls Racing Team,  Dolan Automotive,  Tour De Nez,  The RPD Bike Squad, hundreds of fellow River Rollers and more.  They will lead an experience unlike any bike ride you’ve been on before.  The Reno River Roll is open to all ages and to all types of bicycles.  Roll in your best get-up because we will be hosting a costume contest on the main stage of the River Fest.  Dress your best for a chance to win a whole slew of prizes including a Coors Light bicycle, cash and a dinner for two with a suite at the Circus Circus.

Don’t have a bike or want something creative?  Head over to the Kiwanis Bike Program on 145 Catron Dr. in Sparks Wednesdays – Saturdays or stop by the Great Reno Bike Swap the day of the River Roll.  The Great Reno Bike Swap begins at 10:00 a.m. on May 13th in Idlewild Park.

All pre-event registrations will receive a River Roll nap sack stuffed with goodies, River Fest sunglasses as well as a beer, water or soda after the roll.

Adult Registration – $30
Kids (7 -12 years) – $20
Kids 6 and under – Free (must be secured in bike seat or bike trailer)

Then park your bike at the bike valet and spend the rest of the day sitting back and sampling libations in either the Craft Beer Village or the Summer Wine Village. You’ve earned it. This is easily your best value of the Reno River Festival weekend.
