Welcome to the 2008 Reno River Festival!
We’re excited to say that we’re entering our fifth year of competitions on the Truckee River and this season you can expect adventures both in and out of the water with everything from boating to mountain bike speed trials and fun runs, bringing a whole new class of competitive athletes to America’s Adventure Place May 9–11, 2008.
The Reno River Festival has earned a reputation for showcasing world-class kayaking at its best and this year, the free downtown event expands to not only include additional athletic competitions, but also high-energy concerts, food for every craving and a beer garden featuring hand-crafted microbrews.
With a new vision and new ownership under Reno River Festival LLC, the 2008 Reno River Festival is gearing up to be the biggest, most adrenaline-infused competition in the outdoor arena. So grab your gear, whether it’s paddles, pedals or running shoes and get ready for the experience of a lifetime in Reno-Tahoe, America’s Adventure Place.
The Truckee River Whitewater Park, home of the annual Reno River Festival, is located just blocks from Reno’s 24-hour gaming excitement and other America’s Adventure Place attractions including golf, skiing, hiking and biking trails, lakes and a host of art museums, galleries and shopping and dining venues.
