We are pumped to announce our new dates: June 15 – 17! Traditionally a warmer month, we’re aiming to get you down to the river in bathing suits and flip flops. Returning this year are the popular freestyle, boatercross, SUP and slalom kayaking competitions. And of course Run Amuck, so start planning your costumes.
We’re also introducing two new events: Splash Dogs and the Biggest Little Dog Jog*. We know that you’ve been dying to bring your dogs! Enter them into the Splash Dog dock jumping and diving events or take the mile (ish) jog with your pooch. We’ll also have live music aaaaall weekend long. Stay tuned for the exciting music line-up and more awesome River Festival announcements!
*Only dogs that are registered participants are allowed in the park. All dogs must be kept on leash when not competing.
Have you heard? We’re adding dogs to the mix! Splash Dogs is joining us as the official organizers of one of Reno River Festival’s newest events: dock jumping and diving. Dogs compete for distance in Open and Lap Dog classes, diving from a dock into a 40 foot pool. Fast becoming one of America’s most popular outdoor events, proud pet owners travel from all over the region to compete. If you’re a dog enthusiast (or even if you’re not)? You’re going love it.
