Humans in Motion Short Video Contest
Get out the video cameras and spring into action for the Reno River Festival’s first-ever short video contest, Humans in Motion. Three- to five-minute videos are being accepted now through Monday, April 26 for a shot at the $1,000 grand prize awarded Friday, May 7 during the 7th annual Reno River Festival Kickoff Party @ 6PM. Entries are accepted by mail and will be uploaded here for your viewing pleasure. The top 20 entries will be posted Wednesday, April 28 for audience voting and 2nd and 3rd place prizes are also awarded.
Show off extreme sport skills, go slo-mo or grab some friends and run wild – just make sure it involves at least one human being in non-motorized motion. To qualify, entries must be submitted to Reno River Festival for prior review and judging based on creativity, humor, originality and relevancy to the Humans in Motion contest theme. After public voting on the top 20 videos from April 28 – May 6, 2010, the top five favorite videos will be shown at the Festival and the top three winners awarded May 7 at 6 p.m.
