The Reno River Festival kicks off summer this Mother’s Day Weekend, Saturday, May 13th and Sunday, May 14th in downtown Reno’s Wingfield Park. The River-Bike-Beer-Food-Adventure-Music Fest is one of Northern Nevada’s biggest events and this is your chance to get involved and have your company’s name be synonymous with summer. Friends of the Festival get a ton of perks including prominent displays of their company’s name and logo as well as swag for their employees.

More than 40,000 outdoor enthusiasts attend the Reno River Festival.

Our historic winter will create the most exciting river conditions in the festival’s 14-year history. The world’s top ranked whitewater athletes will take on the Truckee River Whitewater Park in the heart of the festivities. The whitewater competitions, however, are only part of what draws the crowds to downtown Reno. The River Festival has something for everyone.

Liquid Blue Events purchased the festival in 2015 with a vision to create a river park event that engages festival goers in the ultimate outdoor summer experience. Free to the public, the Music Festival has featured several chart-topping, nationally recognized recording artists, from RCA’s Old Dominion in 2014, BMG’s Clare Dunn in 2015, to the new music country sensation Drake White in 2016. The Reno River Festival is currently working on a 2017 line-up that will be the biggest and best yet.

The extremely popular Craft Beer Village features more than three dozen craft beers and hosts more than 1,500 guests over the two-day event, The Smuggler’s Village houses more than 100 retail booths, the Pub N’ Grub Village showcases two dozen food and drink stops, the Private Cabanas allow festival goers to indulge in the ultimate VIP experience, and the Reno-Tahoe USA Adventure Park brings thrills to all ages with more than a dozen rides and obstacles.

Last year, Liquid Blue Events added the newest summer sensation to the Reno River Festival, the Reno River Roll. It is a celebration of everything that is bicycle and it is an experience unlike any bike ride you’ve ever been on before. The family-friendly, casual, costumed, slow ride is a tour through the streets of Reno led by a live mobile band. The 7-mile ride is open to all ages and all types of bicycles.

Even more is being added to the festivities in 2017, including an Intimate Wine Tasting Village overlooking the Music Festival, a Mother Daughter Look-A-Like Contest, and Kids Costumed-Themed Days. Over the next several weeks, Liquid Blue Events will be releasing all the details of a jam-packed Reno River Festival schedule.
