MUSIC FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

The Chaco Footwear Music Festival

11:30am – 1pm – Opening Act – Jessie Leigh
In her first year on the scene, Jessie Leigh opened for a number of national acts including Chris Janson, Kenny Chesney, Craig Campbell, Josh Gracin, and more.  Jessie Leigh infuses her rock and roll attitude into her country style and has been praised for her fresh, unique sound as well as her ability to take “old school music and make it relevant.” Although the main genre is country, the songs on Jessie Leigh’s debut album are influenced by a variety of music styles and they appeal to a wide range music lovers.   “With women on the rise in country music, Jessie Leigh makes for a perfect addition to this genre. Having won the 2015 Battle of the Bands, a prestigious title in the PNW country music community, the rising star is ready to showcase her music on a national level with this [debut album] release.” Julia Howland, owner of Country Music Rocks.net

1:30pm – 3:00pm –  Act 2 –  Jackson Michelson
Songs like “The Good Life,” which has since become a popular track on SiriusXM radio, helped spread Michelson’s music to new fans across the country. Most of the grunt work, though, was done on the road, where Michelson delivered more than 100 shows per year. He opened for artists like Lee Brice, Blake Shelton and Frankie Ballard, earning new fans along the way. To him, those fans were everything. They were his muse, his support system, his champions. Crowd interaction became a crucial part of every Jackson Michelson show, and he always ended each gig the same way: by meeting fans, shaking hands and becoming friends with those who enjoyed his music.

4PM – 5:30 – HEADLINER:  BROOKE EDEN
The accolades continue to pour in for RED BOW Records/ BBR Music Group’s Brooke Eden. The pintsize vocal powerhouse has been named one of Amazon Music’s “Artists to Watch in 2017,” Vogue’s “10 Country ‘It’ Girls,” one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, a SPOTIFY “Spotlight 2016” Artist, PEOPLE’s “Seven Country Acts You Should Check Out” and one of CMT’s “16 Listen Up Artists for 2016” as well as “One to Watch” by Country Music Rocks, Huffington Post, NASH Country Weekly, MySpace, Nashville Lifestyles, Roughstock, Sounds Like Nashville, Spotify, Whiskey Riff and more.  Lauded for her commanding stage presence and brassy straight-shooting style, Eden has performed over 500 shows in four years, including opening for superstars such as Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Sugarland and Florida Georgia Line.

6:00 – 9PM – Act 4 – Hit Parade
Ranked as Northern California’s best variety group, Hit Parade is an energetic professional “COVER” band made up of members from presently popular Sacramento, Bay area and Los Angeles bands. Dedicated to putting on the most professionally outrageous and fun show you have ever seen, it’s a show that must be experienced. Also with a variation of over two hundred songs stretching from the 80’s till present, from Pop to Dance, Country to Classic Rock, and everything in-between.

MUSIC FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

The Chaco Footwear Music Festival Schedule

11am – 12:30pm – Hannah Jane Kile
Hannah is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, & composer who often draws comparisons to her heroes, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Norah Jones, & Sara Bareilles. She has performed at countless venues throughout California including Strawberry Music Festival & California Worldfest. This year, Hannah was selected by the prestigious Mondavi Center as their featured artist prior to Patty Griffin’s 2016 Use Your Voice Tour, which also starred Sara Watkins, & Anais Mitchell.  She is a favorite opener among national acts some of which include Birds of Chicago, Blame Sally, Nina Gerber, Eliza Gilkyson, The Steel Wheels, Joe Craven & the Sometimers, & most recently Ingrid Michelson.

1:30pm – 3:00pm – HEADLINER:  AMERICAN YOUNG
American Young. It’s more than a name. It’s a movement. A passion for music and more importantly it’s meaning. As artists, songsmiths, producers, and entertainers, Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson define American Young this way. The collaborative fresh new duo already claim songwriting credits for hit makers Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and more. Recording and writing comes from a deep, poignant place with a desire to affect global audiences with songs featuring tight harmonies and storytelling. “American Young represents a sound with no boundaries. We are squarely focused on delivering our own brand of music and hope that folks will find our songs everything from haunting to dramatic and intense”, says Jon.  Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson may seem familiar to you. They’ve both been in Nashville and have explored their options in country music before. Jon as a solo act, then a successful producer and songwriter (“Me and My Gang,” “A Woman Like You”) and Kristy as a founding member and sizzling fiddle player of the duo Bomshel. Surprisingly, with the accomplished songwriters that both Jon and Kristy are, their debut single, “Love Is War,” is an outside cut. Penned by the prolific combination of Jonathan Singleton, Kylie Sackley and Billy Montana, the tune showcases surprisingly sparse production considering Jon’s affinity for perfection.

3:30pm – 5:30pm – Big Bad Boogie Rock

Dance to high-energy retro funk and rock from the 70’s and 80’s with Big Bad Boogie Rock. The costumed cover band touts itself as the place where disco and rock and roll explode. The group is a go-to to get the party started at hot spots in Northern Nevada and California.
